Oberstar Inc. will be completing sanitary sewer tap and lateral work in the 100 block of E Washington St, near the intersection of Washington St and Lakeshore Blvd, that requires a full street closure. On Wednesday April 29, 2026, E Washington Street will be closed to local and through vehicular traffic from Front St to Lakeshore Blvd. Work is anticipated to be completed in one day. The sidewalk on the north side of Washington St will remain open for pedestrian traffic only. Eastbound vehicular traffic will be detoured south on Front St to Main St, east on Main St to Lakeshore Blvd, then north on Lakeshore Blvd.
