Fifth St will be closed between Spring St and Washington St for utility tie-in work near the Multi-Use Path on Monday June 29, 2026. Work is expected to be completed within two days. The road will be closed to through vehicle traffic in both directions. The west sidewalk will also be closed to pedestrian traffic but the east sidewalk will remain open. The Multi-Use Path crossing at Fifth St will be closed and detoured south around the work area. Southbound vehicular traffic will be detoured east to Fourth St, south on Fourth St, and west on W Spring St. Northbound vehicular traffic will be detoured west on Spring St, north on Seventh St, and east on W Washington St.
The public is advised to take caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction and advisory signing.
