Marquette Public Art Commission remaining 2026 meetings relocated and Special Meeting scheduled for May 28

The Marquette Public Art Commission has moved all remaining 2026 meetings to the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 300 W. Baraga Ave. Meetings will still be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.

2026 remaining meeting dates:

  • Special Meeting: May 28
  • June 10
  • July 8
  • August 12
  • September 9
  • October 14
  • November 11
  • December 9

A special meeting will also take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss current public art projects.

Public Participation
There are two options for public participation for the special meeting: in-person or written. There will be two public comment periods for the meeting, one near the beginning of the agenda and one at the end. Comments are limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address before speaking. Written comments will be presented to the board during the meeting and can be submitted by emailing tmorin@marquettemi.gov. Written submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
