Tourist Park Off-Leash Area permits are now available in the Marquette City Clerk’s office. Dog owners must have a current dog license in order to purchase an off-leash area permit.
The Tourist Park Off-Leash Area opens for the season on November 1, 2026 and will remain open until April 30, 2027.
Dog licenses and off-leash permits will be unavailable for purchase in the City Clerk’s from October 26 through November 3. During this time, resources and office space will be dedicated to preparation for the November General Election, and specifically to absentee voters and individuals looking to register to vote.
Dog licenses are still available to purchase at the Marquette County Treasurer’s office and some local vet offices.
Beginning Wednesday, November 4, licenses and permits will be available as normal.
