The City of Marquette’s solid waste drop-off site is nearing the end of the season. Please
note that for the safety of those using the site, it will now close at dusk during each day
of operation.
The last day to use the rubbish drop-off site will be Wednesday, October 28, weather
permitting.
The compost and brush drop-off site will continue to be open on Tuesdays from
3 p.m. to dusk and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The tentative closing date for the
season is Tuesday, November 10, weather permitting.
The site will reopen in the spring, and a new schedule will be posted at that time.
