Beginning on Friday, May 29, 2026, various streets in the City of Marquette will experience traffic disruptions due to crack sealing activities by Payne and Dolan, Inc. It is anticipated that this work will be completed within two weeks.
Beginning Monday June 1, 2026, the following streets will be milled and repaved. During this time there may be intermittent, short-term disruptions in access to driveways or off street parking lots as work progresses along the roadways. This work is anticipated to occur over three weeks.
- N. Lakeshore Blvd from Fair Ave to Michigan St
- Altamont St from Grand View Dr to Pioneer Rd
- S. Lakeshore Blvd from Baraga Ave to US-41/Front St
- Fisher St from Dead End West of Seventh St to Front St
- S. Fourth St from Washington St to Fisher St
The public is advised to be aware of all flagging and traffic control devices and to use caution while traveling near and through any construction zones.
